SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN?

Christ is the only offering for sin that we will ever have.

Hebrews 9:24-28

He entered in once and for all into the holy places not made with hands, which are the figures of the true: but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with the blood of others;

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the jugment.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

So, shall we continue in sin seeing that Jesus has done all that he is ever going to do?  He said before he gave up the ghost 'It is finished.' Jesus took away the power of sin. So being saved, we are dead to sin and should live no longer therein. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raisied up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

So we are dead to sin, but alive in Christ. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. That seed is the incorruptible seed of the word of God. He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

So we do not want to let the devil use us. I know that I don't. See the word has something to say about those who just continue in sin and know that they are doing wrong.

Hebrews 10:26-31

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (that is the reason why I made the statement Christ is the only sacrifice for sin that we will ever have); but a certain fearful looking for of  judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, where with he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

These statements along should put fear in the hearts of those who name of the name of the Lord and go on sinning. Don't they understand that the Lord sees everything and knows all? For those who are looking for Christ's appearing, be sure that you have gotten your house in order. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or blemish.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

No, God forbid that we should continue in sin.

THE LORD LOVES YOU

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

That is a verse that is most popular and indeed true. The Lord loves you. He is so concerned about you. The word of God tells us that God is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Just because God has not allowed something to happen to you while you are in your sin, it does not mean that he do not see you or that he is not aware of what is happening in your life. He is longsuffering giving you chance; after chance, after chance to come to him and repent of your sins. But his spirit will not always chide with man. There is coming a time when will come as a thief in the night. For even now the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

He came into the world not to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. That is how much he loves you. He left glory and laid down his crown for you and for me. He was mistreated, misunderstood and abused and lastly beaten and crucified on the cross for you and for me. He laid down his life for us all. Bearly would a righteous man lay down his life for anyone let alone the entire world. We all want to live. But he was selfless. He had you and I in mind even as he hung from that old rugged cross on that hill far away. He hung between two thieves and made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no voilence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. You see, he was made to be sin for us, who know no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. He did not do anything worthy of death. But it was his love for you and for me that he hung on that cross.

The enemy had come in and deceived man so bad that it took God himself to come down and rectify the damage done. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himiself, not imputing our trespasses unto us. That is the love of God.

Take a look at the cross and remember why he died. Because he loves you and does not want you to perish. Perish means to be eternally separated from a loving heavenly Father. Condemned is to be sentenced to death. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. That means that you have rejected him. If you reject him, he will reject you. Jesus is coming soon. So please repent of your sins. We know that the wages of sin is death. Your sentence will be the lake of fire and brimstone. Hell is not the final destination for the wicked. In Revelation 20:14 it says that both death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

He is shown here hanging on the cross for you. But right now he is seated on the right hand of the Father about to step foot upon the Mt. of Olives. Be ye ready. He is such a loving God that he gives us warning. There is no reason for any of us to go to hell. We can all repent of our sins and be ready at his appearing.

THE LORD LOVES YOU!

YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Jesus know exactly why that man had come to him by night. He was a master of Israel but could not understand the things of the kingdom. There are many people sitting in the church today that have never asked Jesus to come into their lives and both Lord and Savior. Perhaps they have been in church since and child and is now 60 years of age, more or less. They think that because they have been in church all of their lives, this makes them saved and they nothing to fear. You can not sneak into this kingdom through a winter or by easing in on a church pew for so long a time. That is how a thief enters in. Perhaps he is already in the house unnoticed and looks as if he belongs there and just blends in. This is not so with kingdom of God.

Jesus says, 'I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.' John 10:9

Also in John 6:44, Jesus says, 'No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.'

'Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.' John 6:65

You do not have to be afraid to come to Jesus and repent of your sins. He who cometh unto Jesus, he will in no wise cast them out. He is waiting for you to come and repent of your sins. Repent means to be sorry for your sins to the point that you stop doing them. It is a complete turn from darkness to light.

You will never be able to understand or take part in the things of the kingdom without being born again. Jesus said, verily verily, I say unto thee (you) Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. You will have eternal life.

Nicodemus knew that he had to be of God, doing all of those miracles. But he did not yet know of the greatest miracle that can happen to a person. That is when God performs an operation within your spirit imputing his life where there was death and bringing forth a new creation man or woman. You are indeed a miracle. Whereas once you were dead, you are now made alive by his Spirit. Praise God!  Hallelujah!!

It does not matter that you have been in church all of your life.

[Romans 8:9 states But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS. So let us keep that in mind.]

What does matter is that - you must be born again.
